I don't know but you know how it goes just because it's in use a lot doesn't mean something is safe. Every time you turn around there is a new study telling us not to use something that has been in use for years and years. I see now that bottled water has cancer agents in it if left in your car in the sun. I think I made 3 acrylic calls quite a few years ago and just didn't care for it. I would think if there is a danger it would be to the call turner more so than the user of the finished call. I'm certain antler dust isn't good for a person either. I've been using antler for ten years and I tell my wife that stuff is gonna kill me.

Hi John I've been making and selling acrylic calls for awhile with now problem I think think that the state is covering there ass like always your only blowing air through the call no biting chewing ect unless you have nothing better to do

Yeah I wouldn't think using an acrylic call would hurt. Making it is probably a different story just like some woods that are poison.

Are eggs good for people now?
I'd be more worried about wood dust, fungi and such..... While sanding acrylic, it's wet and doesn't make dust. Wood on the other hand, bad dusty.
